The 4-Step RON Process
Remote Online Notarization (RON) process.
- 1. Book Your Appointment
Select your appointment date/time by clicking the orange “Book Now” button at the bottom of this page and accessing our online calendar of available appointment time slots.
*A $25 deposit (which will be deducted from final service fee) is required to reserve your appointment time slot.
2. Join Session & Verify Identity (KBA- Knowledge Based Authentication)
You will receive an email containing a link to join your scheduled session. Upon joining the session, you will be prompted to verify your identity by using Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA.) This is a Texas requirement for online notarizations that involves answering a series of questions based on your personal information. In addition to this, you will need to present your form of government issued identification to the camera.
*IMPORTANT* We advise beginning this process 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time as this must be successfully completed to proceed with the online notarization process. Please refer to the list of acceptable forms of valid government issued identification options provided below.
3. Document(s) Signing & Notarization(s)
Once your identity has been verified the notarization process will be carried out with the guidance of your notary. You both will enter any necessary information including the notarizations to complete the document(s).
4. Document Retrieval
Upon finalization of the session your documents will be available for immediate retrieval!
*IMPORTANT* For security reasons once the session has concluded the documents will no longer be able to be altered.
Identification Verification- Government I.D.'s
All signers must have a valid government i.d. to present for identity purposes. The following are the ACCEPTABLE and the UNACCEPTABLE forms to be aware of.
ACCEPTABLE forms for you to choose from:
- State issued identification card
- State driver's license
- U.S. passport
- U.S. military i.d.
- Government i.d.'s
- Permanent resident card
UNACCEPTABLE forms of identification
- Expired i.d.'s
- Social seurity cards
- Birth and marriage certificates
- Credit cards
- School i.d.
- Library card
- Temporary driver's license
Pricing
$35 Online Notarization Fee + 1 Signature
Additional Fees
- $35 Excessive wait fee for more than 25 minutes wait after scheduled appointment time
- $20 Additional Mileage fee (10-mile max) for locations over 20-mile limit
- $35 Cancellation fee with less than a 3-hour notice prior to scheduled appointment time
- $10 Administering of oath
- $1 Each additional signature
